As some of you may know, every Sunday in Junior Worship we sing current worship songs. Many kids ask what these songs are so that they can listen to them at home. So, we decided to list the top 10 songs our kids love!
Don’t forget, our Easter Egg Hunt is tomorrow night at 5 pm! We will have chicken fingers, chips, desserts, prizes, oh… and candy! At 5 pm, we will have a short devotional and then proceed with hunting eggs at 5:30!
We look forward to the fellowship and fun!
VBS is just right around the corner and we are so, so excited! With that being said, it is time that we start equipping ourselves to serve this summer! Continue reading
This time of year is so busy for the Children’s Ministry. Between planning the Easter Egg Hunt, fundraisers, kids camp, and VBS, we’ve got our hands full! (But we love it!)
We are thankful for the help the church gives year after year and we couldn’t have these events without you. Below are listed some of needs for the upcoming events. Continue reading
Yesterday, our lesson from Crayons: The Colorful Life of King David was about David wanting to build the temple for the Ark of the Covenant, but God said it wasn’t time. As the kids talked about the story, one looked at me and said:
“Miss Hollie? You know, a lot of things happen that we don’t want. And a lot of things don’t happen that we want to. But we’ve gotta remember that God is God, and sometimes, it’s just not His time yet.”
Parents, we know it’s that time of the year. Everything can get crazy during the Christmas season, add in Christmas shopping and you can have your hands full. That’s where we want to help.
We are super excited for our 2016 Christmas trip! This year, we will be going to Christmas at the Falls on December 20. The trip will be for kids K-6th grade, and open to youth volunteers to help chaperone (please talk to the youth ministers about this.)
In preparation, we ask that you please fill out the form below by December 7. This allows us to get an idea of how many to plan for and how many tickets to purchase. You can also specify what time will be best for you!
If you have any questions, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on Facebook.

As Christmas draws near, it’s time to begin play practice! This year our play is entitled “Stories of the Savior.” This wonderful production retells the story of the Savior starting with Adam and Eve and ending with Simeon and Anna. Two scientist present various stories leading up to the birth of Jesus, all while sharing the Good News.
While it may not feel like it here in Alabama, fall is officially here, so bring on the pumpkins, sweaters and food!
